Botulinum toxin
The BOTOX (Botulinum toxin type A) therapy is the best method for non-surgical smoothing out mimic wrinkles. Botox works to relax the contraction of muscles by blocking nerve impulses. The result is muscles that can no longer contract, and so the existing wrinkles relax and soften. The effect is temporary thus there is no risk of a permanent paralysis of the muscle. You can expect the effect of your Botox treatment to last anywhere from 3-4 months after the first treatment and up to 6-10 months if the procedure is repeated, but individual results may vary.
What does DYSPORT (Botox) remove?
- mimic (dynamic wrinkles) on forehead, base of nose and around eyes
- small facial asymmetries
- perioral lines
- excessive underarm perspiration, palms and feet perspiration
How is DYSPORT applied?
The application method of Dysport is not difficult or time consuming. Your doctor will apply the substance to a problematic area using a very fine needle. This is a one day surgery treatment and no preparation from the client’s side is needed. Botox is safe as it is not absorbed in the bloodstream; it does not affect the body, only the muscles into which it is injected. The final effect occurs during the period of 2-7 days after the first application. To enhance a perfect rejuvenation effect it is recommended to combine Dysport with fillers, facial smoothing and plastic surgery. Botox use has evolved over the years, making it basically harmless with minimal side effects.
