Chemical peel

Chemical peel is one of the methods, which uses either the AHA-alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic acid) or PHA – polyhydroxy acids (gluconic acid) or commonly called fruit acids. Depending on the depth of the penetration of chemical substances and subsequent exfoliation of the particular skin layers, chemical peel can be divided into three categories: superficial peel, medium depth peel and deep peel.

Superficial chemical peel

This type of chemical peel is done using glycolic acid, which is a non-toxic natural acid. The natural glycolic acid is derived from sugarcane and gently removes the surface of your skin. Glycolic acid is also known as “AHA acid”. This peel efficiently removes dead skin cells, assists the regeneration of your complexion, stimulates poor blood circulation, closes pores, and partially reduces small scars. It has a significant influence on the activity and secretion of sebaceous glands and oily skin becomes less oily after this application. 6-7 treatments are required for optimal results.

Deep peel EASY TCA (trichloroacetic acid)

EASY TCA is considered to be the safest and the easiest TCA peel. This product, applied according to different methods, allows for a wide spectrum of depths of action and therapeutic indications from acne to blotches, photo-ageing and stretch marks. It can be applied to both face and body. No prior preparation is required so it allows patients to keep an active social life. It can be combined with a laser treatment, hair removal, botulinic toxin and surgery treatments. The basic application of Easy TCA has to be repeated 3 to 4 times, once a week. It penetrates into the derma – middle part of skin and therefore it has a more significant peeling and whitening effect. The peeling effect is stronger in comparison to glycolic acid. This will provide you with a firmer and smoother skin for all your life.

AHA and PHA acids

A chemical method for skin rejuvenation.

AHA- alpha hydroxy acids or fruit acids are chemical substances, which are normally found in nature. The most common are glycolic, lactic and citric acids.

PHA – polyhydroxy acid – a new generation of fruit acids. In the polyhydroxy acids category are gluconic and lactobionic acids. Their molecules are bigger and more effective.

Effects of both acids: your skin is more hydrated, smooth, healthier looking, glowing and firmer.

Note: Beauticians use a 30% concentration level of AHA and PHA acids while doctors 70%. Microdermabrasion and chemical peel are suitable methods for acne, anti-ageing, as after-sun bed exposure treatment, and a recovery after a summer of sun when collagen in the skin is UV damaged.
