Fillers

What are fillers?

Injectable fillers are substances used to treat wrinkles, soften facial creases and correct soft tissues. They can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, where other treatments have failed.

Today, there are more than a hundred fillers on the market being used in medical dermocosmetics. Dermatologists use a variety of fillers made from absorbable and non-absorbable materials. The first group of filling substances commonly used includes collagen, hyaluronic acid and Poly-L-lactic acid. The second group comprises silicones, polyacrylamide and a combination of acrylic hydrogel and hyaluronic acid.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Nowadays, it is a global trend to prefer absorbable fillers and mainly pure hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of all living organisms. It is well tolerated by the patient with few adverse effects and no allergic reactions.

What does it do?

Hyaluronic acid can be successfully used as a firming substance everywhere in the face but its preferred application is around the mouth - to treat wrinkles, scars, plump the lips, to create fuller looking lips or a seductive pout.

Moreover, it is suitable for the correction of lips, nasal labial lines, frown lines, to reduce the appearance of scars, and fill hollow areas of the face.

Besides, the filler can be combined with 3D photorejuvenation, radio thermal lift, radiomesolift and other rejuvenating methods.
