The world’s No.1

Fractional photorejuvenation
and micro fractional resurfacing

In Tomar, we use the state-of-the-art technology, a fractional CO2 laser. Fractional lasers, which are able to split (fraction) high energy laser light into smaller micro-parts and leave the structure (so called ‘bridges’) between the individual micro parts of the laser beam intact, are becoming a new trend in aesthetic dermatology and plastic surgery. This latest technology is called the Stamp Fractional Technology or ‘stamping’.

How is it applied?

The laser energy is applied to 2-3% of the surface of the treated area and thus it significantly reduces after-treatment side effects and the period of convalescence. A smaller and one-strike impact on the skin and the shortened time of the regeneration of the skin enable to carry out the next treatment in a short period of time i.e. 3-4 weeks. During the treatment, the laser beam ‘evaporates’ a part of the skin and heats up the tissue deep below the surface. A part of the skin, which ablates is replaced by new elastic collagen, which is subsequently created in this area. Your skin becomes visibly firmer, softer, wrinkles are reduced and also the skin tone is more compact.

What effect can be achieved?

The effect of a less invasive fractional photorejuvenization can be achieved by decreasing of the energy levels. On the contrary, the effect of a whole-facial invasive resurfacing can be achieved by means of basic energy levels with a direct application on about 20% of the skin. This process is connected with a powerful, repetitive, secondary, and irreversible damage to the skin. In such case, the convalescence period is also extended. The convalescence period after the fractional photorejuvenation treatment is 3-5 days, erythema 3-5 days, oedema 2-3 days and surface scab 5 days. The convalescence period for the micro fractional resurfacing is 7-10 days. In order to achieve a desired result, it is necessary to undergo 2-3 treatments in 1-2-month intervals. The number of treatments depends on the condition of your skin before the treatment.

An inevitable part of the whole treatment process is an initial consultation, which may be supplemented by pre-treatment and after-treatment photodocumentation. The treatment takes about 30 minutes, it is ambulatory and without anaesthetics.
