What is RT lift?
An RT lift is a non-invasive treatment, which comprises a combination of two technologies so called ultrasonic dermabrasion and radio frequency.
What does the treatment involve?
It is performed by a doctor. When using ultrasonic dermabrasion, your skin will be first cleansed and exfoliated to remove dead skin cells and thus prepared for deeper penetration of the radio frequency. After, your skin is smoother, built up, wrinkles, small scars and pores are reduced.
The ContrAge Plus actually utilizes RF (radio frequency) energy. When applied to the dermis layer of your skin, the radio frequency changes its energy by heating up and thus significantly changes the structure of collagen and elastin.
At first, the collagen and elastin fibres shrink, then pump up and create a new and tighter tissue structure.
The result is a firm, smooth, more elastic, and visibly younger complexion. Wrinkles around eyes and lips are considerably reduced, saggy skin and facial contours are tightened.
The treatment of face, neck and décolleté is painless. The only sensation that can be felt during this phase is slight warmth and this can even be very relaxing.
How long does the treatment take?
A facial treatment takes about 15 minutes, face-neck 30 minutes, face-neck-décolleté no more than 40 minutes. After the treatment the skin is tighter and of a light pink colour. The treatments take place in 2-week intervals and in order to achieve a long term lifting effect, it is necessary to undergo at least 5 treatments.
How long does the effect last?
The result usually lasts for the period of 2-3 years. An RT lift is suitable for women and men from the age of 30. An indisputable advantage is its ambulatory status, painlessness, and a very noticeable effect already after the first treatment.
